A delicious, soft cake with a sugary almond topping made in less than 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 175ºC (350ºF).
Pour heavy cream into a mixing bowl. Add both sugars, flour, baking powder, and eggs. Mix until incorporated. Pour mixture into a baking tray (40×30 cm or 16×12 inches) lined with baking paper and bake for 10 minutes.
In the meantime, for the topping, melt butter. Add sugar and almonds and mix well. Spread over the cake and bake for 10 minutes more, until the cake is golden brown. That’s it!
