Description

This is served at many local Mexican ice cream shops. It has strawberries, cantaloupe, Fuji apple and banana all topped with a cream that you cant resist!

Ingredients

  • 1 can 14 Oz Can La Lechera (sweetened Condensed Milk)
  • 16 ounces, weight Sour Cream
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg
  • 2 whole Fuji Apples, Diced And Cubed
  • ½ whole Cantalope - Diced And Cubed
  • 1 pint Strawberries, Sliced And Cubed
  • 3 whole Bananas, Sliced
  • 6 Tablespoons Granola (1 For Each Serving)
  • 1 Tablespoon Shredded Coconut (1 For Each Serving)

Preparation

1. In a bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, sour cream, and a squirt of honey. Mix well. Then add cinnamon and nutmeg into the mixture. Mix again to combine.
2. Cut fruit up and place in a bowl. Top with the cream mixture. Then sprinkle granola and coconut on top. Enjoy!

I used the sauce portion of this for a make-you-own fruit salad buffet at a party this past weekend. Everyone put it on top of their fruits of choice and topped with the granola- delish. Thanks for sharing.
