Description

A healthy, all natural banana split made with frozen fruit and topped with natural whipped cream, chocolate syrup and a cherry.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Banana, Peeled Then Frozen
  • 1 cup Strawberries, Frozen
  • ¼ cups Milk (optional), Divided
  • ⅔ cups Pineapple Chunks, Frozen*
  • ¼ cups Whipped Cream, Divided
  • 2 Tablespoons Chocolate Syrup
  • 2 whole Maraschino Cherries
  • 2 teaspoons Peanuts, Chopped (optional)

Preparation

Have two 1/2 pint mason jars ready or if you prefer you can use two glass cups.

In a blender or food processor, add banana, and process until creamy. Divide the banana evenly between the two jars and place in the freezer to keep cold while making the other fruit ice cream. Clean the food processor bowl.

Add strawberries into the food processor and process until smooth, adding about 2 tablespoons of milk to help it process. Evenly divide strawberries on top of banana mixture and place back in the freezer. Clean out the food processor.

Into the food processor add pineapple and blend until creamy. If necessary, add 2 tablespoons milk to help process it. Divide the pineapple mixture on top of strawberry mixture.

Top each jar with 2 tablespoons of whipping cream and drizzle chocolate syrup over top. Top each with a maraschino cherry. If you would like you can add chopped nuts.

Serve right away.
