Description

A super easy apple pie recipe with a nice crumble on top.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Puff Pastry
  • 4 whole Apples
  • 3 bags (24g Bag) Special K Mini Breaks
  • 4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar

Preparation

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Cut the apples into slices whilst the pastry is in the oven.
Mix the contents of the special K cookies so that it turns into crumbles. Don’t mind if you are still left with some bigger bites (there is no need to create dust, as you want a crumble type of cover for your pie).

Steps:

You put your pastry in the preheated oven. As it is puff pastry, you will need to cover it with baking paper and dried beans or something heavy. You don’t want the pastry to swell up.
After preheating the pastry for about 15 minutes, fill the pastry with the apples, scatter over the sugar and last but not least, cover the apples with the crunched special K cookies.
Put the pie back into the oven for about 25 minutes.
You can eat it hot or cold, with some vanilla ice cream or not, but any way, you will definitely enjoy it!
