This recipe has been handed down in my family from my grandmother. It’s wonderful every time! And it’s very simple to make.
Combine oil, eggs and sugar in an electric mixer and mix well. Add in the flour, soda, cinnamon and salt. Combine everything well; the batter will be quite stiff. Fold in the chopped apples, mixing well.
Place 2 layers of waxed paper in the bottom of a bundt pan and pour in your batter. (The waxed paper really helps keep the cake from sticking to your pan). Bake at 350F for 1 1/4 hours.
You can frost this with a simple glaze, sprinkle with powdered sugar, or simply eat it plain. Any way you eat it is delicious!
