Description

You could substitute the cream for milk, but the cream adds a wonderful texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter, At Room Temperature
  • 1-½ cup Peanut Butter
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • ½ cups Heavy Cream, Divided Use
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • ½ teaspoons Kosher Salt

Preparation

1) Cream butter and peanut butter until smooth.

2) Add powdered sugar and half of the cream.

3) Add vanilla, salt, and remaining cream.

4) Blend until smooth.

Makes enough frosting for a 9 x 13 cake or layer cake.

Delicious! The texture is smooth and fluffy yet it’s thick enough to hold peaks. Awesome on a chocolate cake, this recipe will definitely be a repeat.

I used homogenized milk, because that is what I had on hand. This recipe was easy and delicious. I piped it onto chocolate fudge cupcakes and got rave reviews from everyone!
