Description

6 layers, 1 hour, best cobbler ever.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (21 Oz. Size) Cherry Pie Filling, 21 Oz
  • 1 can (20 Oz. Size) Crushed Pineapple, Undrained
  • 1 box (18 1/4 Oz. Size) Yellow Cake Mix, Dry
  • 1 stick Butter, Cut Into Small Pieces
  • ½ cups Shredded Coconut
  • ½ cups Walnuts, Chopped

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Pour cherry pie filling into a 9×13″ pan. Pour undrained pineapple over cherries, smoothing into an even layer of fruit. Sprinkle entire box of dry cake mix over the fruit, spreading into an even layer.

Distribute small pieces of butter all over the top of the cake mix and top with the coconut and walnuts. Bake at 350­°F for 40-45 minutes or until the top of the cobbler is golden and the fruit is bubbling up from the bottom in spots.

This will be my new go-to dessert when I need something quick and easy! It was so easy my six year old put it together under my supervision. Took it to a dinner party with some vanilla ice cream and it was inhaled!
