Description

Bake the perfect, classic brownies in 3 easy steps!!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1-½ cup Sugar
  • ½ cups Cocoa
  • 3 whole Eggs
  • 1 cup Flour

Preparation

Note: I like to add two teaspoons of liqueur or flavoring just to give it a punch, but that is TOTALLY optional. This is also a fantastic base brownie to add in oreos or mint-chocolate candies, etc. to the batter if you like. To make a smoother batter, I sift the flour and cocoa.

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 F.

1. In a pot, melt butter and sugar together until it is smooth and no longer grainy. Add cocoa.

2. Add the eggs and flour; mix quickly and well. (If you want to add in flavoring or liqueur, add at this time.) Pour in a tin baking dish (or any baking dish) that is greased and floured to prevent sticking.

3. Place in preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes.

I would recommend about 3/4 to 1 cup of add-ins!
