Sweet dipping sauce perfect for shrimp, chicken nuggets, spicy wings—anything!
1. Mix together piña colada mix, water, crushed pineapple, coconut, and powdered sugar in a saucepan.
2. Heat on medium low temperature until sauce begins to simmer, stirring frequently. Let mixture simmer slowly for 10 to 12 minutes.
3. Mix cornstarch and cold water together, add to the sauce, and blend well.
4. Let the mixture simmer for 3 to 5 minutes longer while stirring during and after adding the cornstarch.
5. Remove from heat and bring to room temperature.
6. Sauce is served at room temperature or chilled.
