Description

Great as a condiment for your Indian dinners or with a grilled cheese sandwich. Just a little bit hot with a sweet after taste and a citrus pop of the kumquats. Try it today!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup Halved Kumquats
  • ½ cups Jaggery (or Brown Sugar, Packed)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Red Chili Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons White Vinegar

Preparation

In a large pot over medium heat, cook the kumquats and water for about 15 minutes. Then add sugar, salt and chili powder and let it cook for another 15-20 minutes. At the end add the vinegar and enjoy!
