Easy peasy red sauce for pasta. Cheaper than store bought, and you can choose the flavors.
1. Chop up and dice the onion and garlic.
2. Turn the burner on MEDIUM HEAT and put the olive oil and butter in the pan.
3. When the butter starts to melt, toss in the garlic and onion and let them break down.
4. Add the tomato sauce and stir completely.
5. Add the crushed tomatoes and the Parmesan and let the sauce warm through. Also add the herbs at this time.
That’s it! Now you have a tasty homemade sauce!
