Homemade ketchup with a tasty barbecue flavour.
Combine all the ingredients in a large saucepot and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Let simmer for about 45 minutes until the mixture had reduced. Blend with an immersion blender, or let cool and blend in a blender. Enjoy with whatever you like: roasted potatoes, French fries, calamari, hot dogs!

Great idea!! I am not a fan of ketchup–so much sugar! I will try this out and see if it passes the test w/ my boys! Have you tried cooking with this in recipes that call for regular ketchup? I’m wondering if it would be a good substitute!
