The Greeks call this creamy yogurt sauce tzatziki and it’s rich and delectable but not very heart healthy. This lighter version relies on the tang of lemon and lots of fresh herbs to spare your heart and your waistline but still deliver wonderful robust taste.
Mix together all the ingredients until thoroughly combined. This makes an excellent dip for vegetables or pita bread and is also wonderful as a sauce for fish or chicken. Try it on a cold chicken sandwich with crusty bread.
