Description
This grenadine syrup is superior to any you purchase. Use in cocktails or to enhance desserts.
Ingredients
- 3 cups Fresh Pomegranate Juice Or POM
- 1-½ cup Sugar
- 1-½ ounce, fluid Lemon Juice
- ½ ounces, fluid Vodka
Preparation
Place juice, sugar, and lemon juice in a medium saucepan and boil mixture for approximately 45 minutes until reduced by half.
Remove from heat and stir in vodka.
Place syrup in individual, sterilized bottles and cap. Refrigerate for up to one month.
This makes an excellent gift. It is great drizzled over vanilla ice cream or use it as a flavoring in cocktails.
