I came up with this sauce for fish tacos while trying to copy a famous take-out here in the San Diego area. I’ve never measured till now; just threw it together. It can easily be doubled or tripled, etc. and adjusted to taste but this is how we like it.
Throw the whole lot in a bowl and stir till smooth. Cover and refrigerate at least one hour, longer is better. The sauce will thicken as it cools so add a little more lemon juice if you want before serving. Makes approximately 1 cup of sauce. I hope you enjoy it.
