A new way to make the classic béchamel sauce.
For the classic method:
Add butter and flour to a pan over medium heat, stirring constantly until butter is melted and has begun to thicken. Begin to slowly add milk, a little at a time, whisking constantly. Continue adding milk and whisking for around 15 minutes until you have a thick sauce that coats the back of a spoon. season with nutmeg.
For the new method for béchamel sauce:
Add all ingredients to a pot over medium heat. Whisk continuously for 15–20 minutes, until sauce thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
