Slap some of this delicious butter on your holiday yeast rolls, or hot biscuits!
In a mixing bowl, add butter, onion, cheese and sir well to combine. Place in an airtight container or mold and refrigerate overnight for best results. Before serving, garnish with fresh chives.
I use a star-shaped mold to pack in the cheese and onion butter, and then refrigerate. It really looks nice on a holiday table.
Enjoy with your favorite dinner rolls, biscuits, even corn bread.
