Fresh or frozen berries make this the ideal sauce for pancakes, waffles or ice cream any time of year!
Place berries, juice and cinnamon (if using) in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a slight bubble then reduce heat to low. Allow berries to simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and serve warm over pancakes, waffles or ice cream.
