A delicious syrup to use over pancakes, waffles, sweet bread, sweet rolls and many other items.
In a blender add almond pieces, lemon juice and pear slices and pulse several times. Add vanilla extract and run blender on medium speed for 1 minute. Add corn syrup and run blender on high to thoroughly combine. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use. We love this on top of waffles! Enjoy!
Creating syrups for breakfast items is great fun. I love tweaking them and finding the right balance of flavor and texture. I like the variety, instead of always using regular maple syrup (which we also enjoy on breakfast items). This is one of many original recipes to use on breakfast items.
