This recipe came about when I wanted to make Fettuccine Alfredo one night. I bought a jar of sauce from the store, took one whiff, and panicked because it wasn’t edible. I threw this recipe together with what I had in the house, and the result was magical! It became an instant favorite in our family.
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Simmer on medium high, stirring constantly, until the mixture bubbles and the cheese is completely combined. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Combine with a pound of fettuccine noodles cooked to “al dente” per package directions.
