This is my friend Melissa’s recipe for a great breakfast cake that tastes just like a delicious Honey Bun. It is easy and you can make it ahead of time.
Preheat oven to 325F.
Mix the cake mix, eggs, oil and sour cream together. Then pour half of the batter into a 13 x 9 pan.
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over the cake batter. Spoon in the remaining cake batter until covered. Bake at 325 degrees for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
To make the glaze, mix confectioner’s sugar, milk and vanilla close to the time the cake should come out of the oven. Pour the glaze over the warm cake.
Either eat warm or let cool.

I made this yesterday; it is sooooo good! And yes, it really does taste like a honey bun! But best of all, so easy to make. :~)

I’ve been looking for this recipe for a LONG time! A lady at my church back home in Alabama made this for church dinners. I am SOOOOOO HAPPY that I found this!
