This is far and away the tastiest whole wheat bread recipe I’ve ever made! Having said that, it probably isn’t the healthiest due to the amount of honey, i.e., sugar. I tend to think of bread as more of a treat than a diet staple, so this will be my go-to recipe from now on.
My loaf collapsed somewhat, but I understand that I should have increased the flour simply due to weather/moisture variances. The dough appeared very wet upon initial mixing, but I wondered if this particular recipe was supposed to be on the wet side. It turns out that I should’ve added more flour as with any other bread recipe. Nevertheless, the bread’s texture came out perfect and the taste was excellent.

It has been almost a year since receiving a bread machine for my wedding. I had never used one before and had been nervous to give it a try. With my Mom in town, for moral support, we decided to make this recipe.
I used the order the previous reviewer used since my machine doesn’t have a yeast dispenser either.
The bread came out great! It was soft, hearty, and has a touch of sweetness. I love the flavor the flaxseed brings.
It was fast to make and very easy. I may just never buy bread from the store again!

Just delicious! I even used liquid milk inplace of dry milk and the bread still turned out great! Thank you for sharing!
