Description

Simple cornbread using no dairy or eggs.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • ¼ cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 4 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ¾ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ cups Olive Or Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400ºF.

In a large bowl, whisk flour, cornmeal, sugar, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. Add oil and milk and whisk until smooth.

Pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch pie dish. Bake for 20–25 minutes.
