Description

The easiest popover around. 5 minutes from mixing bowl to oven. You can’t beat that with a stick!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup 2% Milk
  • 3 whole Eggs
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 pinch Kosher Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2. In a medium bowl, beat milk and eggs together. Whisk in flour and a pinch of salt, until well combined.

3. Divide butter evenly among twelve cups in a muffin pan. (Cut each tablespoon into 6 pieces , or about ½ teaspoon per muffin cup.) Place the muffin pan in the oven for 2 minutes, to melt butter.

4. Remove the muffin pan from the oven. Pour the batter evenly into each muffin cup. Return the pan to the oven.

5. Bake at 375F for 25 minutes, or until puffy and lightly brown.

6. Allow to cool in the pan for 2 minutes, then gently run a paring knife around the edges of the muffin cups, to release the popovers. Serve immediately.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Wow Shadow, I’ve never had that happen. Mine are always very light and airy. I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you.
