Description

Easy strawberry quick bread.

Ingredients

  • 1-½ cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1-¼ cup Mashed Strawberries
  • ⅔ cups Butter, Melted
  • 2 whole Eggs, Beaten

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9×5 inch loaf pan.

Sift dry ingredients together into a large mixing bowl.

Mix wet ingredients together in a separate bowl.

Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Pour into prepared pan and bake for 1 hour or until bread tests done.

I made this last night. It was easy, moist and wonderful. It was great with coffee this morning. Thanks for the recipe.

This was a quick and east way to use up all the strawberries I had. I made 2 loaves and brought them into work. Both were gone before lunch. They were very tasty and moist. For the 1/2 cup of flour, I used whole wheat. That was the only thing I did differently only because I wanted to use up a small bag I had that was open. I have this saved and I will be making it often. Thanks!
