Description

Craving homemade bread but don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen? Try this quick bread and you’ll have warm, cinnamon-ey goodness ready in less than an hour.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ⅓ cups Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg, Gently Beaten
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cups Toasted Walnuts, Chopped

Preparation

In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients. Add the beaten egg and milk and stir. Fold in the walnuts.

Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350F for about forty minutes, or until golden (stick a knife in the center to make sure it comes out clean).

Let cool and serve with honey butter!

This was so quick and so easy. The taste was good, but i think I will add a pear or an apple next time. I used maple syrup as the sweetener and added flax seed. For having no added fat, I am impressed.
