Description

Peanut Butter Banana Bread is a super easy quick bread that your family will love. For even more diverse flavor add walnuts, pecans or chocolate chips. This delectable bread is moist, quick to fix and the flavor combination is amazing.

Ingredients

  • 1-¾ cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ cups Butter, Softened
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • ½ cups Light Brown Sugar
  • 2  Large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • ¾ cups Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 3  Overripe Bananas, Mashed
  • ¾ cups Semi-sweet Chocolate Morsels (optional)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Spray a 9X5 inch loaf pan with nonstick baking spray.

Whisk together flour and baking soda. Set aside.

Using a mixer, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs one at a time, mixing just until incorporated. Stir in vanilla, peanut butter and mashed bananas. Add flour mixture in 2 parts, mixing just until incorporated. Fold in chocolate chips.

Pour into prepared loaf pan and bake for 60–70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool 5 minutes before inverting on to wire rack to fully cool.
