Description

Easy and tasty bread for dinner tonight. It’s got awesome spices which can be changed for your family’s liking.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Onion
  • 2 teaspoons Dill Seed
  • 1 teaspoon Poppy Seed
  • ¼ teaspoons Celery Seed
  • 10 ounces, weight Refrigerator Biscuits
  • ¼ cups Grated Parmesan Cheese

Preparation

Heat oven to 400F. Melt butter in an 8 or 9-inch round cake pan. I use an 8-inch pan. Tilt pan to cover bottom. Sprinkle seasonings evenly over melted butter.

Separate biscuits into 10 biscuits and cut each piece into 4 pieces. Place biscuit pieces and Parmesan cheese in a plastic bag; shake to coat evenly. Arrange coated biscuit pieces evenly in prepared pan; sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Invert onto a serving plate and serve warm.

All I have to say is: Savory Monkey Bread!

I customized this to our tastes using fresh, chopped herbs from our garden and finely minced garlic in place of the seeds and onion. Next time, I plan on using more butter and Parmesan because that crust is phenomenal. Great idea and delish!
