Light and fluffy, this recipe was wheedled from the cook at an authentic English Tea Room.
Double sift the flour into a bowl. Mix in the rest of the dry ingredients. Pour in heavy whipping cream (add it in just a little at a time until it makes a stiff dough. I’m sorry I don’t have more precise measurements but that’s all Miss Marlene shared with me!).
Roll out the dough about 2 inches thick. Cut the dough into triangles (scone shape), and bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
