This bread tastes like a savory potato bread with a little kick. It’s awesome for a snack or sandwich bread!
Place all ingredients in your bread machine pan in the order directed by the manufacturer (usually liquids, then dry, then yeast on top).
Size is 2-pound loaf. You can cut the recipe in half to make a 1-pound loaf if needed.
Select light crust setting and press start.
Once machine is all done, set the loaf out to cool on cooling rack. It’s a big loaf, so it’s easiest to cut it in half lengthwise, then slice for easier-to-manage pieces. (I cut mine in half to help cool so I could eat it in about 20 minutes. I couldn’t wait!)
The amount of peppers can be altered to taste/heat preference. The amount of cheese can be up to 2 cups.
**For the person who said they could not get it to rise, I’m not sure what the problem is because it has never failed to rise. I do use yeast that is great for bread machines and never use the timer. Also, it is a dense bread to begin with, but it does rise. I have made it at least 5 times and never had a problem!

I have used jalapenos but also used some red hot peppers too (not sure what kind, my friend gave them to me out of his garden). It is very flexible!

What kind of peppers do you use?
