Easy homemade biscuits.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Sift all dry ingredients. Cut in shortening with a pastry cutter (if you don’t have one, use a food processor and pulse until little pea-sized balls form).
Add the egg and milk. Mix with a fork. Dump out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead 4 to 5 times. Roll out to 1/2 inch thick. Use desired cookie or biscuit cutters to cut dough.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.

Made these today with Bab’s Sausage Gravy! Absolutely fabulous!!! So flaky! This will be our go to biscuit recipe from now on! Thanks for sharing such a great recipe!!!
