Quick and easy biscuits that go great with soups and stews.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Mix together dry ingredients. Cut in 6 tablespoons butter until flour has the consistency of corn meal. Add milk and cheese and mix together. Dough will be very sticky. Use a spoon to drop the mixture onto a greased baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
While biscuits are baking, melt the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter in the microwave with the minced garlic. Use a pastry brush to spread the butter/garlic mixture on biscuits when you remove them from the oven.
