Description

The best homemade Flour Tortillas around!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 5 Tablespoons Butter, Softened
  • 1-¼ cup Warm Water

Preparation

Combine dry ingredients in large bowl.

Add softened butter. Mix with fork, pastry cutter or hands.

Slowly add water until a dough ball forms.

Form 10-12 small dough balls.

Let rest for 10 minutes.

Roll out and place on hot skillet.

Cook on med/high skillet for 1 min each side.

Serve warm with all the toppings!

Could you use whole grain flour and get the same results?

These are really good. Didn’t change a thing…cept I used a food processor on pulse, to whip up the dough in about 30 seconds. Also they were so nice and yummy I made a batch and froze them.
