A light fluffy scone that is easy to make.
Whisk all dry ingredients together in mixing bowl.
Cut cold margarine into 1/4-inch cubes and cut into dry ingredients, until the size of large peas. Stir in craisins. Add half-and-half. Stir until just combined. Do not overwork the dough.
Form into a soft dough. Place dough on a greased baking sheet and press into an 8-inch circle. With a clean knife, score the dough to form 8 wedges. Brush with a little milk. Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 400ºF for 20–25 minutes or until light brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
