Description

Chocolate Muffins with a hint of banana and lots of white chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Butter, Softened
  • ¾ cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 3 whole Overripe Bananas, Mashed
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 6 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup White Chocolate Chips, Divided

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Prepare a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray or liners.

In a mixer bowl, combine butter and sugar. Beat until creamy. Add eggs, banana, vanilla, and mix until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add flour mixture to banana mixture and stir until just combined. Fold in 3/4 cup of chocolate chips.

Pour into muffin cups. Sprinkle remaining chips on top. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until cooked through. Cool for a few minutes in pan before serving.

Thanks for the recipe! They are delicious! I’ve tried another chocolate muffin before but it was a total disaster :D This one turned out very good.

These were amazing. I only had 2 bananas so I added 4 tablespoons of buttermilk instead. Other than them being sticky, they were so delicious. I am definitely making these again. I’ve found my new favorite muffin.
