This was really great, my favorite so far of all the cornbread recipes I’ve tried- and there have been many.
I thought I had overcooked it just a few minutes, but the crispy brown edges turned out to be my favorite part.

This was fantastic! I used a gluten free flour to make it gluten free and it was delicious. Our cornmeal is pretty coarse and it made for a very hearty cornbread. Will make again, thank you!

My family and I always have cornbread (from a box…) with chilli. The other night, we had homemade chilli so to mix it up I wanted to make homemade cornbread! I had leftover buttermilk from another recipe so I just had to try your recipe. It turned out amazing and was incredibly easy to make! I love how moist and flavorful it is. This is now the definite go to recipe for our household! Thank you so much for sharing this tasty recipe!

Easy and quite tasty…my kind of recipe!! I doubled the recipe(church dinner) and used a 9 x 13 pan and baked for approximately 43-45 minutes.
