Description

Delicious bread that you can pull apart to eat. It’s a fun twist on a restaurant favorite!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Round Bread, Unsliced
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter, Softened
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Tablespoon Italian Flat Leaf Parsley, Chopped
  • ½ cups Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese

Preparation

Cut the bread into slices lengthwise and then width wise, being careful to not cut completely through the bottom of the bread. The idea is to have little pieces that you can pick out and eat.

Next, take your softened butter in a small bowl and mix it with your garlic and parsley until everything is evenly incorporated.

With a spatula, spread the butter mixture over the entire loaf of bread, then sprinkle on all of the Parmesan cheese and using a thin spatula or butter knife, run it along all of the slices “pushing” the butter/cheese mixture into all of the slices.

Bake in a pre-heated 375 degree F oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the bread starts to spread and it’s turning golden brown.

This was great. I had a small-ish loaf and it needed more than 4 ounces butter and I’m not a heavy butter user either, but 4 ounces left a lot of the bread plain and dry. The affected parts were super delicious tho! Thanks!
