My husband and I call these Jill’s rolls because that is the name of the mom who used to make them for us in college every Sunday for dinner. I have tweaked it a little for my own needs. These are the most amazing rolls ever!
*Prep time does not include 1 1/2 hours for rising.
In a sauce pan, heat milk, butter, sugar and salt until warm (NOT TOO HOT!).
In mixer bowl, put 3 cups flour and yeast. Add warm milk mixture.
Add eggs and beat for 3 minutes.
Put dough hooks on your mixer, then add 3-4 more cups of flour. Beat for 10 – 12 minutes.
In a greased bowl, let dough rise for 1 hour.
Using a large cookie sheet and a large cookie scoop, arrange rolls 5 across and 7 down. Let rise another 30 minutes.
Bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes.
