Description

This is a quick and easy beer bread! If you don’t want to use beer, you can use Sprite, 7-Up or any other soda pop. My son loves to help me make this bread!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Self-Rising Flour
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • 1 can (12 Oz. Size) Beer

Preparation

Mix together the flour, sugar, and beer. Pour in a greased bread pan, put the butter on top (you can just cut pads and place them on top). Bake at 350 degrees for 45 -60 minutes. Take out and enjoy!

I have made this before, and I melt two tablespoons butter and drizzle it over the top of the bread before I bake it.

You indicate butter should be placed on the bread prior to baking but don’t indicate in the recipe how much should be used. Help please =)
