Description

Delicious easy Spanish tapa that I love to have for breakfast. But you can have this at any time of the day!

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Bread
  • 1 whole Tomato
  • 2 pinches Dried Basil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Spanish, Of Course)
  • ½ cloves Garlic
  • Spreadable Cream Cheese - I Like Philadelphia! (Optional)

Preparation

While you toast the bread, cut the tomato in half and, in a small bowl, grate both pieces from the inside towards the outside in a small bowl. Toss the peel. Add the basil, salt and olive oil. Mix all together with love using a spoon.

Now, you can either grate the garlic and add it to the mix OR you can scrape the toasts with it.

Then, spread the toast with the cream cheese (optional) and put the tomato mix on top. Spread it all over the toast. Don’t be shy!

Take a seat and enjoy!
