My parents had a special Sunday school teacher in their adult class and we were fortunate enough to have shared a few fellowship meals with her. She passed on this favorite recipe to us.
This dip is different, addicting, and a perfect treat for a ladies’ Bible study class. Don’t let the lemon Jello and milk scare you away! Be a brave cook or go out eat!
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine Rotel tomatoes, milk, lemon Jello, and cream cheese. Heat until blended together.
Remove from heat and fold in the bell peppers, celery,
onions, pecans, and salad dressing. Mix thoroughly. Chill overnight.
Serve with potato chips, corn chip, or crackers.

It is the gelatin.

Being from Arkansas myself, I am going to have to try this. This sounds good.

Is the “Instant Lemon Jello” the gelatin or the pudding mix? I’m confused by the “Instant”… thanks for any help you can offer.

Oh no the jello is only for flavor. It is a dip all the way!

Is this like a congealed salad? I think it looks great but am not sure my guys would like a Jello-like dip.
