These biscuits are baked in muffin tins so they’re crispy and golden brown all the way around. They go perfectly with a hot bowl of soup.
Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Use a pastry cutter or a fork to cut in shortening until evenly combined.
Whisk together milk, oil, and egg in a separate bowl. Combine flour mixture, milk mixture, bacon, onions, and cheese in a large bowl. Stir gently until combined.
Spoon batter into greased muffin tins. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes on 375 degrees (F) until golden Remove from pan and serve warm.
