Description
Spicy chili – just right for football on a crisp fall day!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Chopped Celery
- 1 cup Chopped Onion
- 1 cup Chopped Green Pepper
- 3 cloves Garlic, Diced
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 2-½ pounds Ground Beef
- 40-½ ounces, weight Canned Red Kidney Beans, Including Liquid
- 31 ounces, weight Canned Red Kidney Beans, Drained
- 14-½ ounces, weight Canned Chopped Tomatoes
- 20 ounces, weight Rotel Mild Diced Tomatoes And Green Chilis
- 7 ounces, weight Can Chipotle Chilis In Adobo Sauce, Dice The Chlis, Don't Use The Sauce
- 4 Tablespoons Chili Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
- 1-½ Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1-½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoons Dry Mustard
Preparation
In a skillet over medium-high heat, saute celery, onion, green pepper and garlic in butter. Add meat and cook until meat is browned.
Add all ingredients (meat mixture as well as all remaining listed ingredients) into crock pot and simmer on high for 5 hours.
Tastes best the next day.
