This is a family favourite birthday cake here. I think the first time I made it I was eight. Basically, it’s a spice cake. And I usually ice it with butterscotch icing. See my TastyKitchen recipe box for my Butterscotch Icing recipe.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix all the dry ingredients into the olive oil. Mix in 1 cup of sour milk. Mix well, then add the rest of the milk, flavourings and eggs. Bake in a greased 9×13 pan, 20 -25 minutes.
