Sweet, rich, and creamy fudge. But don’t tell anyone the secret ingredient until AFTER they have tried it … and even then, you don’t have to!
Melt cheese and margarine. In a large bowl, sift the sugar and cocoa together until well mixed with no lumps. Pour cheese mixture into the sugar mixture. Blend thoroughly with a wooden spoon. Add nuts and vanilla, mix well. Spread into a lightly buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Allow to firm. (I like to put mine in the freezer to help it set up.) Store in the refrigerator or freezer, covered. Makes about 60 one-inch squares.
