A little round piece of heaven .. chocolate heaven!
1. Melt the milk chocolate with the Amaretto liqueur in a bowl set over a saucepan of hot water, stirring until well combined.
2. Add the butter and stir until it has melted.
3. Stir in the icing sugar and the ground almonds.
4. Leave the mixture in a cool place until it is firm enough to roll truffles.
5. Roll the truffles into balls and then roll them in some cocoa powder and chill them in the fridge.
It’s hard to estimate the exact amount of cocoa powder you’ll need as it depends on the size of your truffles and how many you are making.

I am drooling just reading the recipe and can’t wait to try it. It certainly does sound like it would be a little piece of chcolate heaven. Love Amaretto & Chocolate and may have to switch up and make half of them with Kahlua. Thank you for sharing!
