Shhh! No one will know it started with a box. Moist and delicious for days, if it lasts that long!
Grease and flour two 8-inch cake pans and set aside.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Crack the eggs into the bowl of a stand mixer. Add the milk, oil and vanilla. Add the cake and pudding and mix on low speed for 1 minute to combine. Increase the speed to medium and beat until the batter is smooth and velvety. Scrape batter evenly into prepared pans and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 35 minutes. Cake should be firmly set in the center.
Cool in the pans for 10 minutes before turning onto a rack to cool completely. Frost with Best Ever Buttercream.
