My daughter was initially disappointed when I made these, she wanted traditional lemon bars. That disappointment lasted until the first bite. Now they are regularly requested!

Very yummy easy recipe! I prefer more traditional lemon squares that are less creamy but these are certainly a great alternative when looking for something a little different from the norm.

These were pretty easy and very tasty. I’m not a big fan of the lemon bars made with egg, but loved these. I’ve made both lemon and lime and my husband and I loved them both!

I just made these 3 days ago, and they were a huge hit! The perfect amount of Lemon! The only thing I had to change was I used a bigger baking pan because I don’t have an 8×11, so next time I will probably use a smaller pan so they are no so thin! But I will definitely make them again!

I have made these with lemon and lime and loved them so I decided to try orange as well (I love creamsicle!). Not a good idea. I’m not sure exactly why, it may be that orange juice is just not as acidic as lemon or lime and doesn’t have the same effect on the sweetened condensed milk, but the filling did not set up like it normally does with lemon or lime. So maybe another time I’ll try it with orange zest and lemon juice – but the orange juice didn’t work well.

A hit… I wanted them a little thicker so i doubled the recipe. I also added a thinner layer of Lemon Curd on top of the bottom layer before adding the condensed milk mixture. Easy to make and oh so yummy

Dee-lish! I made as directed and had no problem with them crumbling either.
