A really yummy version of the traditional Passover food. It makes a great pastry filling as well.
Whiz all of the above in a food processor until they form a paste (you can make it as chunky or smooth as you like).
You can use this recipe to fill various types of doughs for coffee cake, cookies, etc. It’s also great on toast.

Most important advice here: use a wine you’d actually drink. I used to use Mogen David — yuck. This is a good basic recipe, and can be tweaked to your taste. Add raisins? Pecans instead of walnuts? Whatever you like!
