Description

Calling all cheese lovers! These Baked Parmesan Crisps only take 8 minutes to prepare, making them the perfect option for quick and easy guilt-free snacking. Keto and gluten-free. Add your favourite spices or flavourings such as dried rosemary, basil red pepper flakes or garlic powder.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces, fluid Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Black Pepper To Taste
  • Favourite Spices/flavourings

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425ºF. Cover two baking sheets with parchment paper. Alternatively, you can use two silicone baking trays without parchment paper or silicone muffins pans.

Place freshly grated Parmesan cheese in a bowl. Using a 1-tablespoon measuring spoon, scoop the grated Parmesan onto your baking sheet. Spread the piles of Parmesan cheese out so that each is in a circular shape with about a 2-inch diameter. Make sure there is about 1 inch between each pile, as they will spread slightly when they bake. If you’re using a silicone muffin tin, place 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese in each cup, making sure it is spread evenly across the bottom.

Top each pile of cheese with a desk of black pepper and whatever additional spices or flavourings you like!

Place in the oven and bake for about 5–6 minutes. Watch carefully as they can overcook and/or burn very quickly.

Remove trays from oven and let the cheese cool completely before removing. The cheese will remain slightly gooey and malleable until it has cooled, at which point it will become perfectly crispy and delicious!
